Bulk Carrier Emerald Star capsizes and sinks off Philippines coast early Oct 13th

Bulk carrier Emerald Star sent a distress signal early on Friday about 280 kms East of the Luzon Strait, the northern tip of the Philippines. She reportedly sank in the morning of October 13. The vessel was enroute from Indonesia to China with a cargo of Nickel ore.
